Up for bids is a Vintage Philadelphia Eagles “Zubaz” signed hat. This hat was signed before a preseason game at Veterans Stadium in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. This was the August 1991 preseason before Cunningham would injury his knee later in week one and ending his season.
The hat was signed by 6 Philadelphia Eagles legends on that team, including Randall Cunningham and the late Andre Waters. It is truly a one of a kind item. The included autographs on the rim of the hat are: Heath Sherman #23, Randall Cunningham #12, Andre Waters #20, and Eric Allen #21. On the front of the hat to the left of the word “Eagles” is Wes Hopkins #48. To the right of the word “Eagles” is Fred Barnett #86.
This is an extremely rare item, especially since Andre Waters is sadly no longer around. This was a special group of Eagles. The hat was worn once or twice on days BEFORE it was autographed. It was never worn again after being signed, and has been displayed in a smoke free house ever since.
