    Up for sale is a very rare hand carved antique natural jade Monk netsuke carving.
    This rare figurine is made of natural untreated nephrite jade.
    The jade has beautiful translucence allowing the piece to retain an internal glow that shows the carvings of the monk. This piece has normal surface wear for such an old carving as well as light dirt accumulation.
    This piece comes from a private jade collection and it is estimated to be well over 100 years old.
    We can trace the collection to over 60 years back as the previous owner was adding antique pieces in his travels.
    It measures 46mm by 29mm by 17mm and it weighs 38.6 grams total.
