LILLEY-AMES CATALOG & 5 Printing Blocks From It * IBPOE of W * AFRICAN AMERICAN
From the archives of M. C. Lilley, this listing is for an extremely rare grouping of vintage printing blocks and the I.B.P.O.E. of W. Supplies, 8 page Lilley-Ames Circular they were used to print.  The Improved Benevolent Protective Order of Elks of the World is an African-American fraternal organization similar to the BPOE Elks.  The Net Circular No 137J is not dated but Lilley-Ames name was only used from 1933-1950.  The five (5) printer blocks were stored in the same print drawer as the Circular.  I have denoted which illustrations have matching print blocks with red arrows

on the photos.  It is very likely that the printer blocks are much older than 1933 since Lilley-Ames reused existing print blocks from MC Lilley and Henderson-Ames.  The specifics include:
8-page Circular picturing IBPOE of W supplies with descriptions and prices, 9” x 12”, Good condition with edge wear and heavy soiling on front & back - not sure if it ever had a cover
