Canadian Nephrite is the "provincial stone" of British Columbia, where it is mined in several localities; it is one of the best quality jades in the world - it is an expensive, Hard stone, semi-translucent with spectacular color - it takes a great polish!

hese cabochons vary in size, from about 10-11mm wide to about 16x18mm long. The color on these stones is very nice, ranging from medium to dark forest green, with a few black spots (a hallmark of this stone). They are
nicely made oval stones, cut with a flat unpolished back and a 3.5-5mm dome. Y
