    ORGIN: Unknown, but best guess is China or southeast ASIA. Cabochon is the Jadeite variety of the two jades.
    DYES AND ENHANCEMENTS; Checked out this cabochon with a Chelsea calcite color filter and detected NO dyes were used on or in the stone.

    Cabochon description; COLOR;  Mottled green on green  CUT; Free form oval shaped with a medium high dome.  Good translucency.  POLISH; Satin finish front and back with AN edge bezel on the bottom edge.  INCLUSIONS; None seen.  Fractures: YES One healed internal one.
